Lobnitz
Marine Holdings Limited is a privately owned and totally independent group
of companies, based in the West Coast of Scotland. Its objectives and criteria
for success are simple and include technical excellence, commercial awareness,
total flexibility and maximum service. The Group specializes in the marine
field and LOBNITZ is a name long associated with the shipyards of Scotland
from the 1850's when Henry Lobnitz came from Denmark to work on Clydeside.
His son Frederick was knighted in 1919 for his wartime services as Deputy
Director of Munitions for Scotland under William Weir. All of the companies
within the Group are internationally renowned in their particular fields.
Each company is managed autonomously but has the facility of drawing upon
Group Specialist Services and experience held by any of the other Group companies.
